The TTC is on the verge of a critical bus shortage, which makes you wonder if a special deal is being made with a bus producer to make new buses, without going to the market.

Toronto's about to get ready for some star gazing as the film festival announces some of the big names that will be attending the festival this year, including a slew of Bollywood giants.

A Canadian soldier has been asked to stop blogging because he might compromise the mission. So no more Matt in Afghanistan, because nobody wants to get dooced.

A cyclist saved a driver from a burning van yesterday, restoring my faith in the goodness of Torontonians after a particularly nasty incident on the subway on Monday. But that's a story for another time.

The body of a University of Toronto math prodigy was found in an Edmonton river yesterday, a huge loss for the mathematics community in Canada and globally.
