Riding my bike down St. George the other day, I noticed a large tree had gone timber recently.

My friend Matthew kiddingly warned me that that street was dangereux because of all the trees around. It's not, of course, but it there is a high tree population. I found it amusing that this one was cut in half in front of the Church of Christ, Scientist. God's striking down with great vengeance!

The rapture! She is coming!

I saw that tree while the hydro crews were working on it a couple of nights ago at about 11pm or so... dunno if it was a storm or wind or what but come down it did and it took out the hydro wires with it. They had St. George closed off, etc..

Does God hate Christian Scientists? Hmm.

i heard a credible rumour that this mysterious building will be part of the <a href="http://www.doorsopen.org/";>doors open festival this weekend. as a long time st. george street resident i've often wondered just how they get those whacky sermon topics...now's the time to find out i guess. if you go in, do you think you'll ever leave again?

Before someone makes an ass of themselves, I'd like to toss out a healthy reminder to you that Christian Science is not Scientology. Two completely different faiths.

haha! i was actually thinking recently that followers of christian science must be spending a lot of time lately say "nooooo...it's NOT scientology"! although that's not to say there aren't some fairly odd aspects to christian science too...
