The pair decided there were enough dirty black spots on sidewalks and created the Envyrobubble. The bright multi-coloured depots can be found at Seneca College, Centennial College, College St. (in front of CHIN building), Science Centre, 207 Adelaide St., Columbus Centre, Ontario Place, Sick Kids Parking Lot and Wal-Mart head-office.
While their site says "we joined forces with a leading recycler to ensure that the gum collected became something useful: fertilizer," Oliveti admits that recycling is actually up to their clients who purchase the product. Unfortunately, most drop-offs seen around town have been filled with garbage rather than the intended gum but I've got to give credit to the Envyrobubble-makers for trying to improve TO, even if everyone else is a step behind in cooperating.
