Yesterday the ROM announced that Janet Carding will be the new CEO of the ROM effective this September. She'll be taking over for William Thorsell, a man who has held the role for the last 10 years and who oversaw the controversial Libeskind transformation.

Last week I caught up with Thorsell to discuss his future, his work at the ROM, his views on public space in Toronto and a whole lot more.
