Torrance Barrens Dark-Sky Preserve is Gravenhurst's epic star-watching spot
Torrance Barrens Dark-Sky Preserve is one of only six locations in Ontario where you can appreciate spectacular nights skies. At nearly 5,000 acres, this dark sky preserve is surrounded by undeveloped land, which protects it from light pollution. It's one of the few places in Canada where you can see the Milky Way, Andromeda Galaxy and even the Northern Lights.
