niagara falls to toronto bus

A brand new $30 round-trip bus route is coming to Toronto

Toronto residents operating on a tight schedule but still wanting to make time for sightseeing this summer can look forward to a brand new bus route that arrives and departs from Niagara Falls the same night.

On Thursday, Munich-based bus service company FlixBus introduced a new route departing from Union Station at 8 p.m. and arriving in Niagara Falls at 9:50 p.m. every day.

The bus back to Toronto departs at 11:30 p.m. from Niagara Falls, leaving you precisely an hour and 40 minutes to enjoy the illumination and fireworks show before heading back to the city.

The Niagara Falls summer series fireworks will kick off on May 19 for the Victoria Day long weekend and continue every night at 10 p.m. until Oct. 9. Every night of the year, the three waterfalls that make up Niagara Falls are also illuminated in glowing colours.

If you plan on spending more time at the falls, you'll also have the option to choose from morning and midday trips. One-way tickets for the bus route currently start at $15.99 and can be purchased at flixbus.ca
