Toronto's Startup Open House is back for year two

Have you ever wanted to take a peek into Toronto's rich startup scene? Perhaps you just want to see what all the fuss over startups is about. Regardless, you're in luck because for the second year in a row, Startup Open House is making it easy to step inside some of the city's biggest and most well-known high-tech businesses and social ventures.

From 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on October 29, Startup Open House is giving anyone who registers access to a slew of businesses. While you'll undoubtedly be privy to some cool workspaces (DMZ and MaRS alone are pretty slick), you'll also get to meet the people behind notable and growing companies including Hurrier, Ritual and Shopify.

Whether you're intent on networking and securing a new job, or you just want to poke around, attending the event won't set you back a dime.
