world series schedule blue jays

Here's the schedule for Toronto Blue Jays games if they make the World Series

For only the second time in history, the Toronto Blue Jays have a winner-take-all game to go to the World Series.

The Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners face off Monday night at the Rogers Centre, with the game having just about the biggest possible stakes you could imagine.

For Toronto, they're aiming to go to the World Series for the first time since winning it all in back-to-back years in 1992 and 1993.

For Seattle, they're a franchise mostly defined by failure and heartbreak, as they've never been to the World Series since being established in 1977, the same year Toronto got an MLB team.

On the other side of the equation is the Los Angeles Dodgers, who clinched the National League pennant on Friday night with a four-game sweep over the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLCS.

What would the Blue Jays' World Series schedule be?

Just as they did in the first two rounds of the postseason, Toronto would have home-field advantage in the World Series. They'd host Game 1 and Game 2, as well as a possible Game 6 and 7. While we don't have exact start times released, that information will likely become available late Monday night, with the series potentially set to begin Friday in Toronto.

  • Game 1: Friday, Oct. 24, 8 p.m., L.A. @ Toronto
  • Game 2: Saturday, Oct. 25, 8 p.m., L.A. @ Toronto
  • Game 3: Monday, Oct. 27, 8 p.m., Toronto @ L.A.
  • Game 4: Tuesday, Oct. 28, 8 p.m., Toronto @ LA
  • Game 5*: Wednesday, Oct. 29, 8 p.m., Toronto @ L.A.
  • Game 6*: Friday, Oct. 31, 8 p.m., L.A. @ Toronto
  • Game 7*: Saturday, Nov. 1, 8 p.m., L.A. @ Toronto

What if Toronto loses?

If it's the Mariners moving on, the Dodgers will end up with home-field advantage against their West Coast compatriots. Either way, the World Series will be starting Friday and going up until Nov. 1, though the start times are yet to be announced.

  • Game 1: Friday, Oct. 24, TBD, Seattle @ L.A.
  • Game 2: Saturday, Oct. 25, TBD, Seattle @ L.A.
  • Game 3: Monday, Oct. 27, TBD, L.A. @ Seattle
  • Game 4: Tuesday, Oct. 28, TBD, L.A. @ Seattle
  • Game 5*: Wednesday, Oct. 29, TBD, L.A. @ Seattle
  • Game 6*: Friday, Oct. 31, TBD, Seattle @ L.A.
  • Game 7*: Saturday, Nov. 1, TBD, Seattle @ L.A.
