How much last-minute potential World Series clinching Blue Jays tickets cost in Toronto

No, you're not dreaming: the Toronto Blue Jays have a chance to win the World Series at the Rogers Centre this weekend.

The Blue Jays take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 6 on Friday night, with a 3-2 lead in the series after taking two of three games on the road earlier this week.

Should the Blue Jays lose on Friday, they'll be right back at the same place for a winner-take-all Game 7 on Saturday night.

Ticketmaster prices have actually dropped since earlier in this week, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be making a big financial commitment either way.

The cheapest prices at publishing time for two seats next to each other at Game 6 run for $1,733 each in section 537, pretty much the furthest seat away in the ballpark, but still in the building.

The most expensive ticket listed was $11,294 for seats behind the Blue Jays dugout in the fifth row of section 32.

Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena is holding a watch party down the street, though tickets for that event sold out in minutes.

Should Toronto win tonight, Game 7 ticket holders probably won’t be all that sad about seeing a refund in their account. But if it does go to Game 7, they’ll have one of the hottest tickets in town, with those going for $2,012 per ticket, and the cheapest seats are general admission standing tickets.

However the weekend turns out, we’re bound to see some Toronto sports history in the making.

The Blue Jays are aiming to win Toronto’s first MLB title since 1993, when Joe Carter hit a famous walkoff home run in Game 6. It’d be the city’s first major title in any of the big four North American sports since the Raptors won it all in 2019.

The Dodgers, meanwhile, are aiming to be the first MLB team to win back-to-back titles since the New York Yankees won three straight from 1998 to 2000.
