Toronto Raptors player marries longtime girlfriend and they're having a baby

It was a big weekend for Toronto Raptors shooting guard Ochai Agbaji.

The 25-year-old tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Avery Brandmeyer, in a beautiful ceremony on Saturday. This comes after the couple announced their engagement back in 2024. 

It seems like a number of his Raptors teammates were at the wedding, with Raptors star Gradey Dick posting a congrulatory message on his Instagram story.

"Congrats, love you both," Dick wrote on the story.

That wasn't the only bit of good news for the Agbajis as the couple also revealed that they are pregnant with their first child. Avery shared the announcement on social media with a photo of the couple posing on a beach at night while holding a small #30 jersey that features their last name.

They even revealed that they are having a baby girl.

"Baby girl Agbaji coming soon," She captioned the post.

Agbaji is set to enter his second full season with the Raptors after being acquired by Toronto from the Utah Jazz back during the 2024 NBA Trade Deadline. Initially drafted 14th overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2022, Agbaji had an illustrious college career that saw him take home a national championship and be voted the Final Four MVP.
