Toronto Maple Leafs super-fan Justin Bieber makes surprise appearance at Game 7

Arguably the Toronto Maple Leafs' most famous fan couldn't miss out on the chance to be part of history on Sunday night.

Sitting directly behind the Leafs bench for Game 7 in their second-round series against the Florida Panthers were Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey, hoping to provide a good-luck spark for Justin's childhood team.

Interestingly, Mrs. Bieber chose to wear a team jacket, while Mr. Bieber opted for a puffy red coat, oversized hat, and sunglasses.

Sportsnet caught the award-winning singer catching a groove to the arena music in a stoppage in play.

A longtime pal of  Leafs captain Auston Matthews and forward Mitch Marner, Bieber shared a series of selfies taken from his seats with the two.

"I'm a slut for these boys," Bieber wrote.

While Bieber has had eight No. 1 albums, a pair of Grammy Awards, and a career most could only ever dream of, he's once again showing that the Leafs might actually mean more to him than all of that.

Justin actually skipped the Met Gala two weeks ago to catch the first game of the series between the two teams on a massive TV in the couple's California home, though Hailey did make the trip to New York.

The Panthers and Leafs are the last second-round playoff series to finish.

Toronto has not won a Game 7 since 2004 and has lost six straight.

The winner of this series heads on to the Eastern Conference Final, where they will take on the Carolina Hurricanes in a series starting Tuesday. The Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars meet in the Western Conference Final, which begins a day later on Wednesday at the American Airlines Center in Texas.
