Toronto Blue Jays quietly hike prices on cheapest beer at Rogers Centre

If you check out a Toronto Blue Jays game this season, there's a pretty good chance you also might be buying something to eat or drink at the same time.

And while most of the vendors around the ballpark have a heavy markup on their products — particularly the alcoholic ones — there's a well-known way to get cheaper options at the Rogers Centre.

Available on the 200 Level in section 240 and on the 500 Level in section 537, the Dugout Deals stands are much cheaper than other concession stands around the ballpark. While they might have long lines, it's far and away the most cost-effective spot to get food or drinks at the game.

But while the prices are still better than you'll find anywhere else, the cost of beer has gone up a bit since the 2024 season. With the Jays returning to the ballpark this week to kick off their 2025 campaign, here's what the Dugout Deals menu looks like this year:

• 12oz Bud / Bud Light – $6.49 (up from last year 5.79)
• Value Hot Dog – $3.49
• Value Popcorn – $3.49
• Value Nachos with Cheese – $4.69
• Value Cone – $3.49
• Value Chips – $2.49
• Value Pretzel Bites –  $4.69
• 16 oz Soft Drink – $3.49
• Water Bottle – $2.49

The 12 oz cans of beer come with an increase of 70 cents since last year's Opening Day. For comparison sake, the LCBO website has a six-pack of those beers listed at $14.25, or about $2.37 per can.

One possible explanation for the beer price going up at both a rate and total value more than other products could have to do with the ongoing American tariff situation, with both Budweiser and Bud Light being products from U.S. manufacturer Anheuser-Busch.
