Toronto to get its first large scale escape event

For the past year, Torontonians have been locked (har) in a deep fascination with escape rooms, sealing themselves willingly in rooms with friends and strangers and attempting to logic their way back out. If you've tried every room in town and are ready to raise the stakes a bit, you'd best get yourself a spot in this massive escape-room event set to take over the Great Hall this April.

Escape From The Bank, from the same people behind Real Escape Room T.O., will see the venue's Black Box Theatre transformed into a 1920s bank, with 120 participants locked inside. You and the rest of your team of six participants must band together to beat the clock (and the other teams), find a secret document, and fly the coop.

Escape From The Bank runs from Thursday, April 23 to Sunday, April 26, and tickets ($25 each) will be available this Thursday on the Real Escape Game website.
