Lima Charlie Pub is the one of the top spots to watch the Winter Olympics in Toronto

The best place to watch the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games is, well, Italy.

The next-best place is a pub with a relaxed atmosphere, a delicious and affordable menu, and community at its core. And in Toronto’s east end, that pub is Lima Charlie, located at 189 King St. E.

A quick history lesson

Lima Charlie is proudly owned by a lifelong Toronto east-ender, Meaghan, who grew up in The Beaches neighbourhood and spent her childhood at her father’s restaurant. Now, she carries the torch, serving up good vibes, awesome food, and a place where friends can come together to make new memories.

Fun fact: The name Lima Charlie comes from a military code derived from the NATO alphabet, meaning “loud and clear.” It pays homage to the Moss Park Armoury, which is located just a few blocks from the pub.

Great grub

With a full menu of classic pub fare, you certainly won’t go hungry at Lima Charlie!

Chow down on classic burgers and sandwiches, graze on greens such as salads and rice bowls, or keep it classic with a pepperoni pizza. Got your gang with you? Share an order of mozzarella sticks, a serving of wings, or a plate of nachos made with housemade chips.

Happy Hour happens twice a day — unless you come on Sunday, when Happy Hour never ends.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, you can get a pound of wings for $11.95, and throughout the week there are additional deals on beer, burgers, and fish and chips. Essentially, there’s no bad day to visit Lima Charlie.
