Antoni Porowski knows good food.
The culinary expert (and only Canadian) from Netflix reality show Queer Eye also knows that Canadians can find delicious, ready-made food at Loblaws, just ask him.
Fresh off his Emmy win for Queer Eye, Porowski has teamed up with the grocery store chain in a brand-new influencer partnership — and it couldn’t be a better fit.
While working on a shoot at Loblaws, the Canadian native spotted Polish donuts — paczki. It instantly took him back to his childhood visits to the store and the treats he loved growing up.
"I've done my share of collaborations, but with Loblaws, it's especially nostalgic and exciting. I remember when the first one opened right where my bus stop was, and how excited we were," he tells blogTO.

Now, as he balances his busy work schedule and social life, Porowski turns to Loblaws for convenient, ready-made meals that are equally nutritious and delicious.
One of his favourites? Loblaws' Power Bowls — which he says are packed with authentic flavours and wholesome ingredients that keep bellies full.
The protein bowls "have good macros," he says, giving a shoutout to the Mexican edition with rice and the Shawarma version with a grain mix. With 18 to 34 grams of protein, ready in just three minutes, and priced at only $8 each — what's not to love?
His advice: grab a few and keep them in the fridge for a quick, satisfying meal and avoid that post-work hangry moment when you're too hungry to think straight!
For a restaurant-quality dinner at home, Porowski recommends Loblaws' hearty, family-sized Rigatoni Pasta for a filling and delicious meal.
"It was actually cooked al dente, and it had a lot of meat and the sauce ratio was excellent," he said.
With a sprinkle of Parmesan on top, this bad boy "checks all the boxes" for Porowski. And when he gives a meal his stamp of approval, you know it's going to be delicious.
For a cozy Friday movie night, Porowski suggests Loblaws' Family Meal Deals — value bundles that save time without skimping on flavour. His go-to is the 14 wings box with honey garlic or hot sauce for just $16.
He also recommends the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies for dessert. "They aren't too big and they aren't too thin where they dry out, they are absolutely delicious. And it's a good chip-to-dough ratio," he explains.
When Porowski is short on time but still wants to add a personal touch to his meals, he heads to the Loblaws produce aisle for inspiration.
For a quick upgrade, he recommends a simple side salad with butter lettuce and homemade vinaigrette, or some smashed zucchini to give the meal a special touch.
No matter what his day brings, Porowski knows he can count on Loblaws to provide quality ingredients if he has the time to craft a homemade meal, or a convenient, delicious, ready-made meal if he doesn't.
From Montreal to L.A. and back again, Porowski is a true Loblaws connoisseur — and it speaks back to his early days.
"Being back in Canada is always nostalgic to me, and with Loblaws, it was like a full circle pinch me moment. Never in my life did I imagine collaborating with them and having this partnership."
