Fashion lovers rejoice! Simons just doubled down in Toronto.
In addition to its Mississauga store at Square One Shopping Centre, Simons now has two more stores in the GTA.
The first landed at the Yorkdale mall in August this year, and the second has opened its doors to the public at the Toronto Eaton Centre on Sept. 18. That brings Simons’ Canadian store count to 19.
Known for its trend-forward offerings, the Quebec-born retailer blends in-house labels — think Twik, Icône, Contemporaine, Le 31, Djab and Simons Maison — with big-name global designers.
The new three-level, 112,000-square-foot store is filled with everything from trend-forward streetwear to timeless modern classics and offers style at multiple price points for women, men, and the home.
Whether you’re hunting for everyday staples or show-stopping fits, there’s a good chance you’ll find them here.
In true Simons style, the new store is as much architectural eye candy as it is retail space. The Eaton Centre location doubles as an ode to art, with over 40 contemporary pieces worked into the design — so it kind of feels like you’re shopping in a gallery.
"When our customers step inside a Simons store, we want them to feel welcomed into a space that engages all the senses," said Bernard Leblanc, President and CEO of Simons, in a press release. "Art plays a vital role in creating that atmosphere."
The store is home to a collection of paintings, sculptures, digital media, and large-scale installations designed to spark curiosity, foster community, and create an experience that extends beyond just shopping.
More than half of the pieces are crafted by Toronto-based creators, like Trevor Wheatley and Cosmo Dean, with the remainder showcasing Quebec talent, including Indigenous artist Renée Condo of Mi'kmaq heritage, whose bead-based works explore spirit, identity, and interconnectedness.
Each station is numbered and has a QR code for visitors to scan and learn the stories behind the art.
Honestly, the store is a must-visit, even if it’s just to soak up the beauty. Add in the stellar customer service, sleek interiors, and mix of fashion, accessories, and home décor, and it’s clear Simons isn’t just expanding — it’s levelling things up.
ICYMI, Simons is running two members-only contests with prizes up to $10,000 in travel credit.
