Inside the Toronto party where coffee culture met club vibes

If you thought this year's CNE was all corn dogs, cotton candy, and carnival rides, you thought wrong.

Toronto's iconic summer send-off fair got a major caffeine upgrade this year, and it came with bass drops, swings, and a sense of community that screamed, “can every Sunday look like this?"

On Aug. 24, Nabob Coffee — the OG, Vancouver-founded, Canadian brand that's been brewing since 1896 — threw its first-ever Coffee Party at CNE's Bandshell Park. If you haven’t heard of these trendy parties, picture a crowd of dancing Toronto residents taking shots of espresso and cheers-ing steaming cups of joe. It’s as cool as it sounds.

Free coffee for all

Over 1,500 cups of hot, 100% Arabica coffee were poured — no lineup, no charge, just smooth roasted goodness delivered by a brand which has long been dedicated to serving Canadians the best premium coffee around for over 100 years.

The Summit 100% Colombian Roast brought bright citrus notes, while the Breakfast Blend delivered those smooth, floral vibes perfect for sipping in this late-summer sun.

Plus, their coffee is Rainforest Alliance Certified and even packaged in innovative Boardio™ packaging that uses up to 90 per cent less plastic.

Bringing the vibes

The space itself was a vibe. The BREW HAUS kept the caffeine flowing. The GRDN LOUNGE offered a cozy space to sip and people-watch. And, the SWING SCENE turned into a steady stream of Instagram moments.

As a brand born in beautiful B.C., Nabob’s deep connection to the outdoors is one of the reasons Canadians remain so loyal to its coffee. Each blend reminds coffee lovers that there’s no better way to enjoy a cup of joe than basking in the sun, within the trees, or even under the stars. (And yes — Nabob has a delicious decaf, too!)
