A Toronto-founded company with roots stretching back to 1957, Canada Goose aims to keep the planet cold and the people on it warm by providing luxury, performance outerwear that's stylish, functional and sustainable.

Because its durable, reliable outerwear can last generations, the new re-commerce platform gives Canada Goose garments a well-deserved second or third life.

Here's how it works

It's super easy to find the vintage pieces that'll stand out in your wardrobe. Just visit the Canada Goose Generations website and filter through their vintage, trade-in or shop tabs to see what's up for grabs.

Each product is labelled with its condition status, with Excellent being in the very best condition possible.

Currently open to all customers in Canada, it's even easier to trade in your gently-used Canada Goose gear. All you have to do is locate your item in the Canada Goose catalogue using the style number on the garment tag. Then, check out the expected credit amount you could receive for the garment.

Canada Goose generationsNext, Canada Goose will review your pieces and send you a prepaid shipping label so you can mail them your item. Once it's back in the hands of Canada Goose, their garment experts will assess the condition of your piece.

If your item is eligible for the trade-in program, you'll receive a gift card to spend at either Canada Goose, Canada Goose Generations, or a physical Canada Goose store.

Curated, upcycled pieces built to last

Along with trading in pre-loved pieces, shoppers can search for all kinds of rare garments from the last 65+ years of Canada Goose designs, including the iconic colour block Adventurer Jacket from the early 1990s or the Squall Jacket — which was previously only available to law enforcement.

Canada Goose generationsBrowse upcycled products from the Canada Goose warranty program, or outerwear and apparel traded in from verified customers — the product assortment is purposefully curated to showcase unique and rare pieces.

Supporting sustainable goals

This new re-commerce platform directly supports Canada Goose's Sustainable Impact Strategy and will help divert waste from landfills. It furthers Canada Goose's commitment to divert 100 per cent of their annual warranty waste from landfill by 2025.

Canada Goose generationsGenerations also helps shoppers curate their wardrobes with pieces that speak to them. You'll be able to secure rare and sometimes limited-edition garments that withstand the test of time and the elements — keeping them in circulation for as long as possible.

The re-commerce platform also gives customers a verified place to shop, where they can trust the condition and prices of each and every luxury garment available. And no, you won't have to worry about the stress of dealing with individual resellers.
