Brown Donkatsu North York
Known for its crispy cheesy katsu, this is the second location of the popular Korean donkatsu franchise restaurants operations.
Instead of using premade breadcrumbs, Brown Donkatsu makes their own bread and then shreds it for the breading used to coat their deep-fried cutlets. The finished katsu is topped with a selection of traditional specialty sauces and served solo as an appetizer, with rice as a rice bowl or rice plate.
A signature dish is the Cheese Stick Katsu which fills sliced pork cutlet with mozzarella cheese and is served with cranberry sauce and the original brown katsu sauce.
For non-katsu options, the restaurant also serves ramen and soba noodles, in addition to sharable appetizers like gyoza, breaded fried shrimp and takoyaki.
