Bistro on Jane has a bit of an old-school diner kind of feel, with leopard print high seats across a window and a framed James Dean print on the wall.

Right across from Runnymede Collegiate, this friendly joint run by a Polish and Latin American couple (Carlos, one of the co-owners, kept calling me "se単orita" and felt it his duty to inform me I was very pretty - *blush*) serves up all-day breakfast, comforting Eastern European dishes (borscht, cheese blintzes and latkes), gigantic burritos and for the adventurous, gourmet burgers with wild boar, crocodile or kangaroo meat from Black Angus Farms.
