An iconic ad-emblazoned building overlooking Toronto's Sankofa (formerly Yonge-Dundas) Square is up for sale for over $34 million.
A new listing for the property at 33 Dundas St. E. was originally constructed in 2004 as the Olympic Spirit Toronto development that operated for two years before closing. Rogers later purchased the property and converted it into studios for CityNews and Omni TV in 2009.
Those tenants departed the building in early 2025 after 16 years, with the move coming just months after CP24 and BNN left their longtime home at 299 Queen Street West.

The listing advertises the 56,514 sq. ft. building on 0.19 acres of land, with annual property taxes of $402,056. While the price tag of $34,500,000 and hefty property taxes may deter some buyers, the listing emphasizes the building's position fronting onto one of the city's busiest destinations and steps from the TMU (formerly Dundas) subway station.

Among the building's advertised features, the listing highlights a rooftop deck with west-facing city views over the square.

However, the listing notes that the iconic signage pylons towering above the building are actually not for sale.
"The offering does not include the pylon signage which is currently under application for condominium registration with the City of Toronto and expected to be completed in the second half of 2026," reads the listing, adding that "During this period, Rogers will continue to cover all operating costs associated with the signage."
