15 things to do in Toronto this week

Things to do in Toronto this week include Canada Day celebrations, outdoor activities for your daily dose of vitamin D, and some sports action, too.

Canada Day will be in full swing with the city celebrating in many different ways. For those who want to watch free fireworks, Milliken Park and Stan Wadlow Park are just some of a long list of places where you can go and watch the dazzling display at night. There is also Multicultural Canada Day happening at Sankofa Square, a day-long festival celebrating all the cultures found here in Toronto.

For those looking to spend the night chilling outdoors, be sure to check out the free concert series at Lee Lifeson Arts Park or even a free movie under the stars at College Park.

And sports fans can look forward to a baseball home game as the Toronto Blue Jays take on the New York Mets right here at Rogers Centre.

There's all this and so many other things to do in Toronto this week. Be sure to check out our complete events calendar to plan your month ahead.
