St. Patrick's Day Parade route map and road closures in Toronto for 2026

Toronto is getting ready to welcome the 2026 St. Patrick's Day Parade back to the city — along with some road closures that could impact how you get around downtown.

With live marching bands and cultural performances taking over Toronto's streets, the 38th annual event is set to be quite the spectacle.

Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming 2026 St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Date

The 2026 St. Patrick's Day Parade will take place on Mar. 15 and will happen right after the traditional St. Patrick's Day Parade Breakfast held at the Madison Pub. This gathering invites guests to get into the spirit of the upcoming parade in a relaxed setting over a hearty meal.

The parade will then kick off at 12 p.m. and run until 3 p.m.

Route

The route for this year's parade remains the same. The event will begin at the corner of St. George St. and Bloor St. W. The procession will then head east along Bloor St. W. before turning south onto Yonge St., where it will conclude at Yonge St. and Dundas St. W.

Road closures

The parade's staging area, located near the starting point at St. George St. and Bloor St. W., will be closed starting at 8 a.m. on Mar. 15. The rest of the streets along the route will close beginning at 12 p.m. Keep in mind that sections of the route will reopen as the parade passes through.

Here's your chance to get into your green and hit the roads to celebrate this upcoming weekend!
