You can play pickleball on a floating court on Toronto's largest indoor lake this month

If you've always dreamed of playing pickleball on a floating court in Toronto, you're in luck. Your very specific, albeit very unusual wish, is coming true as the Toronto International Boat Show later this month.

According to organizers, the annual attraction is the only place to play pickleball on "the world's largest indoor lake," which features a full-sized floating court.

The first five days of the show, running from Jan. 17 to Jan. 21, will see the indoor lake come to life with daily floating pickleball sessions, a brand new addition to the event's itinerary for 2026.

Players of all levels are welcome to join in the fun. You have the option to bring your own equipment or use paddles and balls that will be available on site at check-in. All participants must wear non-marking, soled athletic shoes to take part in the activity.

Pickleball sessions start at either 10:30 a.m. or 12 p.m., depending on the day. This experience is included with admission to the Toronto International Boat Show, and day tickets start at $26 plus applicable taxes, which are now available for purchase on the event's official website.

Each pickleball session requires on-site sign-up, so once you arrive at the venue, head to the Lake to add your name to the list.

The 68th Annual Toronto International Boat Show is a yearly attraction that brings together thousands of boat enthusiasts and exhibitors for industry-related workshops, events, and shopping experiences.

Guests can play pickleball on a floating court inside the Enercare Centre, located at 100 Princes’ Blvd.
