Toronto's buzziest new party series is turning into a music festival this spring

The Coffee Party, perhaps the most-buzzed-about party series to hit Toronto's social scene in the past year, is only continuing to gain popularity, and this spring, they're taking their approach to new heights.

It's only been about four months since friends (and, now cofounders)  Zohaib, Matt, Jeff, Greg and Matty turned their shared love of coffee, tunes and day parties into their first-ever event, which drew in a whopping 250-person crowd, at Baro.

In the months that have followed, the concept, which centres around good, sober fun, in a club-like daytime atmosphere with complimentary coffee, pastries and DJ sets keeping the vibes up, has blown up in every sense of the word.

Their most recent Toronto event (they've also since expanded to Miami) was held at Nodo Liberty Village and drew a lineup that covered a block and a half of Liberty Street, on top of the 1000 people already packed inside by 10:30 a.m.

Suffice it to say, the boys have struck gold, tapping into a shifting current when it comes to party culture in the city. Maybe people don't want to stay out until 4 a.m. and wake up violently hungover anymore. Imagine that!

With another Toronto event scheduled for mid-April, the Coffee Party is also expanding to new levels, as they announce the upcoming Coffee Party Festival taking place at Stackt Market on June 14.

Picture The Coffee Party only bigger and better and al fresco. In other words, heaven.

The festival will feature two separate stages blasting good vibe beats alongside appearances from some of Toronto's favourite coffee vendors and pastry shops to keep you fuelled up all day long.

"This isn’t just another event," the caption on an Instagram post announcing the festival reads. "It's a full-blown celebration of culture, coffee, music and community."

Tickets are available for purchase online starting at 7 p.m. on March 27, and are only available to those subscribed to The Coffee Party's newsletter, so, judging by those lineups, you'll want to sign up and scoop your ticket fast.

The festival's lineup has yet to be announced, so keep an eye trained on The Coffee Party's Instagram for the latest details.
