- Woodhands dropped a late summer / early fall mixtape called No Feelings last week, which sees the duo stripping down their own beats, removing their vocal parts and adding in verses from some of the biggest names in hip hop including Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Biz Markie, Dre, Eminem, Bruno Mars & Kid Cudi, to name a few - (Direct Download: ZIP OR Download via Paper Bag Records if Woodhands' server is overloaded.)

- Caribou stopped by the Daytrotter studios to record a three-song, live-off-the-floor session featuring a trio of tracks from his most recent album Swim -- "Leave House", "Hannibal" & "Bowls". Head to daytrotter to stream the tracks, and join the site to download the Caribou sessions in 128kbps MP3.

- 19-year-old Hamilton-based singer/songwriter Pete Vandyk has been incredibly prolific throughout his teenage years, releasing three EPs leading up to his full-length debut Pete Vandyk and the Second Hand Band, which is due for official release next week both physically and digitally through his bandcamp. In celebration of the release of the album, Pete is embarking on a cross-country tour with Zachary Aasman, which kicks off on Monday September 27 at the Casbah in Hamilton where Pete & Zachary will be joined by Travis Caine & the Lasting Effect.

Pete is also offering up an exclusive free download of his bluesy rock'n'roll anthem "Canadian Boy", which you can download via this link.
