Shad to celebrate the release of TSOL with cross-Canada tour
Things are kicking into high gear for London rapper Shad K, who is putting the finishing touches on his third full-length effort TSOL, due for release on May 25 through Black Box Recordings. Though Shad won't divulge the meaning of the album title, he's offered up the tracklisting and a 20-second music-video teaser for the first single "Yaa I Get It," which you can check out below. Since it's such a short clip, check out another Shad video from the Woods & Wires series.

Last week Shad also announced a dozen Canadian tour dates to celebrate the release, with Grand Analog slated to open the West Coast dates and D-Sisive booked to warm up the Ontario crowds. The lone Toronto date on the tour is at the Opera House on June 12.

Owen Pallett's new Remix EP
Domino Records will release a new 12" single for "Lewis Takes Off His Shirt" on June 22, which will featured three new versions of the Heartland track as well as remixes of "Midnight Directives" and "Keep the Dog Quiet." The collection features Pallett's tracks re-imagined by Montreal's CFCF, UK beatmaker Max Tundra and US electro experimentalist Dan Deacon. Check out the video for "Lewis" below.
