Caribou Wins the 2008 Polaris Music Prize

Caribou is the winner of the 2008 Polaris Music Prize. The announcement was made just moments ago on stage at The Phoenix.

Prior to the announcement, I heard that Polaris Grand Jury member Frank Yang from Chromewaves voted for Caribou. The CBC's Jian Gomeshi was pulling for The Weakerthans and George Stombo was vying for Shad.
