Pornoween at the Metro Adult Theatre

I'd been excited about this show for weeks. The Chinese Stars, Ex-Models, Get Hustle, Mahi Mahi, DJs Shit La Merde and Jaime Sin playing a Halloween costume party show at the Metro Adult Theatre they'd dubbed Pornoween? Sounds like a huge party I better get tickets for fast. Unfortunately, despite the amazing line-up and spooky season, attendance was poor.

As I eased back into my plush theatre seat, taking in "Vampiros Lesbos" in between bands, I realized that the darkness of the old porn theatre was probably hiding all kinds of disgusting stains. I was grateful I wore my boyfriend's trenchcoat (I dressed up as a regular of the theatre), because who knows what I was sitting in. So did I overrate the popularity of the bands? Probably. But the heavier ticket price ($12-$15) and the venue (No booze? Gross stains!?) could have hurt the attendance of the show as well.

The bands were all worth the money, but while it was fun to see the inside of a porn theatre, I'll think twice before paying to sit in a place like that again.
