Holiday market taking over Union Station next month

The Union Station Holiday Market will return for its second year starting on Monday, November 30. However, instead of being situated inside the Great Hall, it'll takeover the Sir John A. Macdonald Plaza, which is right on Front Street.

Run by Union and Toronto Market Co., who also ran Front Street Foods, this market will feature more than 30 vendors, including Desmond & Beatrice Bakeshop, Yo Sox, Melissa Beth Designs, and Tuck Shop Trading Co.

The outdoor market will include a 25-foot Christmas tree, festive beverages and "a selection of yuletide programming," notes a news release. It'll be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

The market will stick around until December 20, which gives you plenty of time to grab a snack or last minute gift on your commute in or out of the city.
