Staff and patrons at Toronto establishment Silent H were treated to an appearance by NBA legend LeBron James this week.
James' Los Angeles Lakers were in town on a team road trip this week, claiming a nail-biting buzzer-beating victory over the Toronto Raptors on Thursday evening. While it was a historically poor performance for James, the record 21-time All-Star was still able to dine at one of his favourite local haunts while in town.
James not only posed with restaurant staff at Silent H, but even sent his personal compliments to the chef, asking, "Food is incredible, what's your name chef?"
James is a repeat customer at the King West establishment and also took time to pose with the Silent H team during a 2024 visit.
And the future Hall of Famer is not alone among NBA stars in his love for the restaurant.
The trendy Mexican restaurant from acclaimed Executive Chef Gerardo Álvarez Saucedo has apparently become a favourite among NBA royalty since its 2023 opening.
In addition to LeBron James, the establishment has also hosted 11-time NBA All-Star Steph Curry, and has been named a local favourite by Toronto Raptors' rising star Scottie Barnes.
Aside from the NBA's biggest names, Silent H has also attracted high-profile clientele from elsewhere in the pro sports sphere, including Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
And Silent H is clearly just one of many things LeBron James loves about visiting Toronto. After Thursday night's win, LeBron showed some love for Toronto, telling media that "This city always welcomes me with open arms, whether it's for a basketball game or just coming here to visit."
