Bakery behind Toronto's viral cube croissants opening a second location

A Toronto bakery known for its viral creamy cube croissants is already gearing up to open its second location less than two years after opening its flagship store.

Kream, located at 526 Yonge St., is a dessert cafe serving up stuffed croissant cubes, which are baked fresh daily and filled with homemade cream and custard.

The bakery's range of "Kream Bombs" come in a variety of familiar and inventive flavours, including classic milk, creme brulee, tiramisu, strawberry, yuza, matcha, and savoury options like potato bacon.

Aside from its viral cube desserts, the cafe also offers a plethora of other sweet treats, including square cakes, pudding, cookies, cheesecakes, iced drinks, and hot beverages.

Earlier this month, the bakery announced that it was gearing up to open its second location by the end of the year, and invited its loyal patrons to guess where the new shop will be located.

Staff confirmed to blogTO that Kream's second store will be taking over the now-shuttered Gong Cha bubble tea shop at 3290 Midland Ave #5. The new location will feature new drinks, and desserts, as well as a sitting area for guests to enjoy their sweet treats.

Although staff did not provide an exact opening date, they confirmed to blogTO that the shop will be opening "sometime in December."
