Ontario brands really treat April Fools' Day like a sport. Every April 1, like clockwork, local businesses roll out the most clever, chaotic or downright confusing pranks.
There's a small window in the morning where anything feels possible, and businesses take full advantage, rolling out bizarre product launches, questionable menu items, and announcements – like a new Toronto airline offering $20 flights – that make us scratch our heads and ask, "Wait, is this actually real?"
This year, some of these gags sound so good that, lowkey, we wish they were real. Sure, they're ridiculously over the top, but they show us how creative the people behind our favourite brands really are. Credit where credit's due, you’ve got to hand it to them for fully committing to the bit.
