Where's Waldo

In Photos: Where's Waldo

The Eaton Centre was the backdrop today for a massive game of Where's Waldo. Organized by Improv in Toronto, the hunt for the guy in the red and white striped shirt started at 2pm this afternoon and drew more than 900 participants - short of the 2,000+ that signed up on Facebook but still an impressive number.

Judging by the comments on the Facebook event page, most people had a good time, although the game was short, with Waldo being tracked down a bit quicker than expected. Other than that, the only beef seemed to be the whole corporate angle. As one commenter posted:

My biggest problem with this event was that it turned out to be just a huge corporate plug. While it was fun, it seemed like the end goal was just to get people in to Chapters and Starbucks to buy overpriced coffee and hopefully pick up a Waldo book or other novel.

Oh, well. Gotta pay for the event somehow. More photos:
