Miss Mitzy Cream's Kitten Revue

Autumn is here and with it a new round of burlesque shows to tease and tit-tilate.

On Friday, September 29th Miss Mitzy Cream brings out her Kitten Revue at the Now Lounge, 189 Church St,
(8:00pm $10 cover).

Now I have known Miss Mitzy professionally for about 2 years, having shared the stage with her during the Mayworks Gala performance in 2004 (we are both Toronto Burlesque and Vaudeville Alliance members). I have since passed on my boa, sticking to researching burlesque history, but Miss Mitzy has been a very busy kitten, heating up stages all over the place.

She has an interesting roster of performers, many of whom I am unfamiliar with (the ubiquitous and annoyingly endearing host Mysterion the Mind Reader notwithstanding). This is a good thing: for neo-burlesque to thrive in this city we must continue to see fresh acts.

I can only hope that all the performers maintain same production values as Miss Mitzy's website...
