The top 5 Japanese souffle pancakes in Toronto

Japanese souffle pancakes were one of  Toronto's biggest food trends in the past. Despite being a once hot trend there's only a handful of restaurants to visit when you're hankering for these wobbling towers of jiggly Japanese pancakes.

Here are my picks for the top Japanese souffle pancakes in Toronto.

Fuwa Fuwa

The name of this Toronto restaurant with multiple locations across the GTA means "fluffy fluffy" in Japanese. Souffle pancakes here come in flavours like tiramisu or matcha cream, and the whole process eschews your usual pancake eating-process with two forks instead of the fork-and-knife duo.

Peacher Peacher

This is the spot near Yonge & Wellesley for bubble tea and smoothies but that's not all they carry. If you're looking for some tasty eats opt for their souffle pancakes which are available in flavours like vanilla and matcha. Yum!

Cafe Bon Bon

This spot on Highway 7 is a haven for all Asian desserts. The star of the menu is definitely their souffle pancakes, which you can get in the original flavour or with chocolate cream, accompanied with some soft serve on the side.
