This Week In Theatre

A number of shows are running this week and are worth a look. Now's the time to get out there and see this stuff while it's really firing on all cylinders.

The Danish Play - Sonja Mill's play gets its third incarnation. Nightwood Theatre presents the true story of Agnete Ottosen, Danish Poet and famed Resistance fighter. Runs to Mar 17 at The Young Centre for the Performing Arts.

Scorched - by Wajdi Mouawad Tarragon Theatre's newest mainstage production. A brother and sister are brought together over their mothers death and, spurred on by her will, delve into her past and discover as many new things about themselves as they do her. Runs to Mar 31.

Curse of Ham - A Roots International Arts Theatre presentation. When a fast-talking and charismatic multi-personality preacher - Hamilton Bishop aka "Bishop Ham" is accused of crimes he didn't commit, he must defend himself in a court of law! This defense is made complicated when it is revealed that he believes he is Ham - the cursed third son of Noah. Runs to Mar 11at the Theatre Centre.
