Cut & Paste, the digital design tournament started in New York back in 2005, has finally added a Toronto date to its annual schedule. It's set to take place on Saturday March 14th (time and venue still TBA) and will feature live competitions in 2D, 3D, and Motion Graphics.

The way it works is that for each competition, 5 designers jump onstage and are given 15 minutes to display their work in real-time on large screen projections, as the audience watches and analyzes their technique, speed, and skills. Winners from each of Cut & Paste's 16 cities will qualify for a Global Championship later in the year.

A promo video explaining what Cut & Paste is all about is embedded above.

Good luck everyone!:)
