While some star athletes only end up spending a season or two in Toronto, the same can't be said of Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
Having called the city home since 2019 while also signing a 14-year contract extension with the team that's the largest in Canadian sports history, there might never be a bigger star in Toronto sports.
"Toronto is a city that I consider to be my second home. The energy, you feel it everywhere, that's what I like about being here in Toronto," he said in a video put out on his Instagram on Thursday.
And having committed so much of his life to Toronto, Guerrero's learned a few different places where he likes to spend his time off in the city.
In the video, he outlined eight different places he likes to visit.
For what it's worth, Guerrero was also seen with a Steam Whistle beer.
He also showed off a favourite dish of his from the Dominican Republic, where he spends his offseasons and where he spent much of his childhood.
"If I had one meal left, I would eat frito con salami," said Guerrero, describing a combination of fried plantain and Dominican salami. "I can make that, and I don't know how to cook."
A big fan of records, video games, and fashion, the trio of stores seems very on brand for Guerrero.
While he's got one of the busiest schedules in the city of any sports star, keep an eye out in case you see him in one of those spots next time you're out and about.
