Toronto gets a new knife throwing range

Winter is coming and what better way to warm up (or train for an undead uprising) than by learning a new skill at the Toronto Knife Throwing Organization's (TKTO) new East York indoor facility?

This past summer, Jonathan Howcroft opened TKTO as an outdoor range. But now, as the weather turns colder, the organization will be moving inside at 6 Curity Avenue. The new space will feature eight lanes, including two that'll be reserved for private lessons. A single session will set you back $35.

The TKTO is hosting its members-only grand opening event this Thursday. Along with throwing knives, guest will get to munch on mac-and-cheese from catering company Return of the Mac. On October 15 and 16, it'll hold a public launch.

Would you try out this new facility? Let us know in the comments.
