Canada Day Fireworks in Toronto are known for being top notch displays of pyrotechnics. While the roster for Victoria Day was modest, with only a handful of firework events within the GTA, Canada Day has more than a few solid options. Whether you like to watch the show from a beach blanket or a park bench, the city has got you covered. Alternately, If don't mind a noise complaint or two, you can always pick up some fireworks and make a DIY light show.

Here are your best bets for Canada Day fireworks in Toronto for 2015.

Harbourfront Center
The Harbourfront Centre is hosting its family-friendly Canada Day Extravaganza from June 27th to July 1st and will be ending the celebration with a bang (literally). Look forward to a 20-minute light show kicking off at 10:40pm on the eve of Canada Day.

Ashbridges Bay
Ashbridges Bay is a tried and true option, with one of the best locations for firework-watching in the city. The show will begin after 9:30pm, and you can expect it to be as extravagant (and crowded) as the one seen on Victoria Day.

Centennial Park
Canada Day conveniently falls on the final day of Ribfest in Centennial park, so if you want dinner and a show this is ideal. The fireworks will start at 10pm.

Downsview Park
Downsview Park has recommended two spots for optimal viewing: The Meadow and Festival Terrace. Head there early if you want to snag a prime viewing location, the show begins at dusk (10-10:30pm).

Mel Lastman Square
Mel Lastman Square offers a host of activities to take part in pre-fireworks: a zero gravity circa, free face painting, and live performances. The fireworks will cap off the night at 10:15 pm.

Canada's Wonderland
If you're spending your Canada Day riding the Behemoth, get your money's worth and stay late for the show. You'll witness an epic light show featuring 6000 fireworks and fire divers. It will commence at 10:00 pm.

Mississauga Celebration Square
Mississauga Celebration Square is throwing a day long event featuring headlining acts Kardinal Offishall and Scott Helman. There will also be activities for kids and food vendors on the scene. Fireworks will being around 10pm.

Stan Wadlow Park
Stan Wadlow is where to go if you're in the east end and don't want to make the pilgrimage to the Beaches. The day will offer a parade and live entertainment with the night closing with the fireworks display around 10:15pm

Richmond Green Park
Richmond Green part will be hosting a patriotic celebration running from 11am-11pm. The event will feature a texting competition, a marketplace, a midway and more. End the day with fireworks, beginning at 10 pm.

Bayfront Park
Hamilton may be slightly outside of the GTA, but that doesn't mean it doesn't host a worthwhile show. For Toronto-dwellers in the far west, this may be your best option (especially if you want to avoid crazy traffic to the inner-city shows). Fireworks will start at 10pm.
