Next Toronto Pillow Fight might be largest ever

You would think the thrill of walloping your friends with pillows would have worn off after your high school years (or at least after catching a corner to the eye - ouch). But flash mob masterminds Newmindspace have proven us wrong over and over again with their annual pillow fights, which have set feathers and fluff a-flyin' every year in Toronto since 2005 (and, in the following years, around the world).

Pillow Fight Toronto 2015, set to go down on April 4, is about to be their biggest ever, with 10,200 folks (and counting) slated to attend. (Contrast that with last year's fight in Nathan Philips Square, which drew only 1,000.)

Organizer Kevin Bracken is, himself, mystified by the sudden spike in interest: "I can't explain this at all, but there are over 10,000 people marked attending to the Toronto pillow fight" - possibly the largest ever by a factor of four, he wrote on Facebook. It's a mystery to us - but you should probably head on down to the bedding section of Homesense now before they sell out.

CORRECTION: Due to a typographical error, this story originally stated that 10,000 people attended Pillow Fight Toronto 2014.
