In Photos: Little Korea Celebrations

Posted by Jerrold Litwinenko / June 19, 2006

A late goal by South Korea forced a 1-1 tie with France, and put South Korea at the top of the Group G standings. Shortly after the game Bloor St. was quite the honk, wave, smile, and cheerfest!

More photos of the fun and celebrations can be seen in this slideshow.

i was hoping that the red devils would overcome les bleus yesterday. sure the goal wasn't the prettiest, but all that matters is that it was a draw. that's going to be an exciting group to watch.

If Toronto's Korean contingent show this much spirit following a tie game, I can't wait to see them whoop it up if they win in the next round of play!

PS Go Brasil!

I agree, I was SO impressed by the fan support for the Red Devils, bith here and what I saw on TV. Truly amazing; it gave me goosebumps!

Jerrold: Is it true that if Brazil plays a full 90 minutes without taking a dive, it means Jesus is coming back? ;)
