Hop on Heineken's Route 0.0 for a fun night out in Toronto

If you’ve decided to cut back on alcohol in the new year, you certainly aren’t alone. January is often a time when people drink less, but being sober for a bit (or at all times) shouldn't hold you back from experiencing the best of Toronto's nightlife.

That's why Heineken 0.0 — an alcohol-free beer that doesn’t sacrifice great taste or great times — is launching Route 0.0, a hop-on hop-off streetcar that will be cruising Toronto neighbourhoods and making stops at some of the hottest nightlife areas in the city for select dates in January.

Riders of the legal drinking age can climb aboard and enjoy Heineken 0.0, along with live music from some of Toronto’s hottest DJs, including BAMBII, CYRUS and Karim Olen Ash, as they ride to various stops throughout the night, all free of charge, proving that the journey can be just as fun as the destination.

But what is the destination, you ask? Select bars across the city have partnered with Heineken 0.0 to support the exclusive Route 0.0 wristband. This means riders will get to skip the line – and the cover charge – and go straight to the good times.

Riders of Route 0.0 can show their wristband at bars including Belfast Love, Isabelle's, The Parlour, The Drake Hotel, Death & Taxes, Three Dollar Bill, and Peaches Sports Bar for free entry and complimentary Heineken 0.0.

Going alcohol-free doesn’t mean you or your crew have to stay home on weekends. Go ahead – dance the night away, make memories with friends, and celebrate a fantastic year to come. You deserve it!

heineken 0.0Heineken Route 0.0 will run from 9:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 13, and from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 20, and 27.

The route will begin at Union Station, followed by stops at King St. W. and Portland, Queen St. W. and Bathurst, Queen St. W. and Abell, Queen St. W. and Sorauren, and Dundas West Station, before looping back towards Union Station.
