It now has terrible customer service and the cats living in the store are not cared for properly - they are always left to roam aound and are dirty, and they are supposed to be trying to get them adopted out.
I heard from a friend in the neighbourhood that the lady actually has her own dog that I have never seen. She used to leave it on it's own locked in the basement furnace room overnight (for 15 hours at a time), and then out the back during the day and never walked it.
I prefer the store Fetch up the street or Pet Valu, where at least they keep the cats in cages during the day so they dont get startled by customers and let them roam around the store at night (but clean up after them)
