Capsule Music TorontoCapsule Music is a temple of twang - three cramped rooms loaded to the ceiling with guitars with f-holes or candy-apple race car finishes, and amps in battered tweed. Old classics and new retro recreations hang side by side, the gaps filled with music memorabilia from the collection of Capsule's co-owners, twin brothers Mark and Peter Kesper.

This place is the American Apparel of guitar stores. The wannabe hipster rockstar staff is too busy talking to themselves to help you with anything. That's a shame because there are some nice guitars in there.

This place has nothing but overpriced gear, along with terrible service and attitude from its 'holier than thou' hipster employees who cant even play guitar. I've had a few repairs and setups done here and I was not once satisfied.

Just on the other side of Trinity Park on Dundas West there's another small shop called Lil'Demon Guitarists' Pro Shop. Not as big as capsule but the guy there really knows his stuff and you can tell he's a true guitarist who eats breathes and sleeps guitar. Finally I have found my guitar repair tech! He also sells gear and does consignment. I highly recommend anyone checking out Capsule walk across the park and give Lil'Demon a visit.

We might be a small business,but if you want a store that knows there stuff and that will treat you right. Look no further! Tundra Music Buy/Sell/Trade Boom!

This is a great store to browse but don't expect a warm fuzzy feeling when buying and/or selling. The manager has the worst case of Queen St. attitude I have ever come across, and this is coming from someone that has worked and lived in the area for 20 years. Once he has your equipment and/or owes you money, he acts like an ass because you are of no use to him. Won't meet you when he says, undercuts the set price, etc. Paul's, in Kensington, is such a better vibe.
