Radar: Duran Duran, All Time Low, Elvis and 86'd Mondays
MUSIC | Duran Duran
Yes, these are the guys that made those hearts throb back in the '80s... But somehow they haven't lost it, and are doing it again! It isn't often that bands your parents listened to become cool again, and enough so to be featured on the main stage at this years Coachella festival out West. In addition to playing a great catalog of former hits, these guys are also sporting a new release, "All You Need Is Now", so expect some fresh tunes along with your favourites.
Phoenix Concert Theatre (410 Sherbourne Street) 7:30PM $50
MUSIC | Elvis Monday
Elvis Monday to the rescue again! Yes, Toronto's most trusted night of indie rock goodness is indeed happening tonight at The Drake! Rocking your world will be: Tenderloin, Savannah, The Black Void, People Of Canada, and Holy Toledo! A great end to a great long weekend!
The Drake Hotel (1150 Queen Street West) 9PM FREE
MUSIC | All Time Low, Yellowcard, Hey Monday, The Summer Set
Baltimore, MD's All Time Low hit town tonight for a much anticipated all ages show at the Sound Academy. These guys were the subject of some controversy during the Bamboozle Road Show last Summer, where they were banned from several dates on the tour because of a pepper spraying incident. They will be on their best, hardest rocking behaviour tonight as they take the stage, supported by openers Yellowcard, Hey Monday, and The Summer Set.
Sound Academy (11 Polson Street) 7PM $35
CULTURE | 86'd Monday w/ Ivy Knight: Sugar Shack Party
Everyone's fave culinary maven, Ivy Knight, hosts another awesome 86'd Monday at The Drake this evening. With music by the Guy Rubino Band, battles between rival chefs, a "best dressed hoser" contest, and more, this promises to be a Sugar Shack Party you won't want to miss!
