Summer Hot, Some Are Not - A Toronto Fringe Comedy

Summer Hot, Some Are Not is a bold and hilarious new comedy revue written and performed by 5 limber, handsome and dorky comedians. Through dark, silly, awkward and sweet comedic sketches (including musical numbers), the show explores the concept of balance: the hot and the not, the normal and the absurd, and the funny moments that blur the line in-between.

This fast paced show, directed by Fringe veteran Carmine Lucarelli, pushes the boundaries of form and content by exploring everyday experiences and absurd topics in unconventional and hysterical ways. The show not only asks “isn’t it funny when?” but creates new situations that don’t exist by asking “wouldn’t it be funny if?” No strangers to the stage, the writer/performers have trained at The Second City, the Annoyance Theatre, iO Chicago, Impatient Theatre Company, and Bad Dog Theatre. Comprised of members of comedy troupes Fake Cops and The Lobster Quandary, this ensemble has joined forces to create a rousing comedic revue!
