Patrick Wolf plays Lee's Palace this Saturday October 6th and we have two prize packs to give away. Just be one of the first two people to place a comment below stating - other than Lee's Palace - what you think is the best live music venue in Toronto and why.

Each prize pack includes two tickets to the show, a Patrick Wolf t-shirt and a copy of each of his albums - 2003's Lycanthropy, 2005's Wind in the Wires and 2007's smash The Magic Position. Good luck!

I've always really liked the opera house. Small, good acoustics, and it has some charater. The polar opposite of the ACC.

Danforth Music Hall -- because that's where I saw the Arcade Fire, front row, back in '04.
Massey Hall -- because it sounds great.

The Phoenix. Good size, and still a good atmosphere. Against Me! was insane last year.

this will be a strange response, but:

Markham Theatre

They offer $5 tickets to high school students, so for a couple of years until i was too old, i was able to grab prime seats to shows such as Colin James, Tower of Power and Blind Boys of Alabama for almost 1/20 of the price. And the venue itself is small enough that the acoustics are decent and the seats are all within good view of the stage.

I can't believe nobody listed The Mod Club Theatre as their favourite. Not only are the sightlines awesome and the sound and lights spectacular but they get some of the best bands to play there!
