Kodo Dummers: Ticket Giveaway

On March 21st and 22nd, the world renowned Japanese Kodo drummers are going to make a very rare appearance in Toronto, at Massey Hall.

Using traditional Japanese taiko drums, the Kodo collective push the boundaries of rhythm and percussion and create songs that will visually and aurally blow you away. I saw them perform in Tokyo a few years ago and have been an avid listener ever since. Seeing them in Toronto is certain to be transporting.

Want proof? Here's your opportunity to see and hear them yourself!

The third person to email me the correct response to the following question will win a pair of tickets to the March 22nd show:

In what year was the Kodo group formed?

Please email your answers to jerrold AT blogto.com.

Tickets are $45-$75 and are on sale now for two shows - March 21 & March 22, 2007 at 8pm - at Toronto's Massey Hall, available by calling 416-872-4255, visiting www.masseyhall.com online or in person at the Roy Thomson Hall Box Office.
